OK everyone, one of the only cons in Michigan is happening from October 30th-November 2nd. So it is at Halloween. But my question is do we want to go? Maybe leave on Friday and come back Sunday. I could get us a place to stay, for free (my dad's house) and then we would just have to drive a little to get there. The convention will take place in the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn. So me and Lyds ended up going to Youmacon (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). It was pretty cool. Had lots of fun!! YAY YAY!! We dressed up Saturday, but forgot to take pics . I did take a couple pics on Sunday, I will post them when I get the download cable for my camera from home. Well we can't wait to tell everyone about it at club, and I hope we can all go next year or at least a group of us.

I might as well say it now, but Lydia ( i think) and I are going to plan on going down to Youmacon again in 2009, its around the same time as last year and its in the same hotel (Hyatt Regency Dearborn- really nice hotel ). So if anyone else would be interested in going you can talk with me or lyds. As the date gets closer we will know more of what the plan for it is and how it will work out.

UPDATE!!!!!! I have a room for Youmacon and I will be going with Lydia and Kristina and Mary. It will be a blast. Hopefully we will be able to go down Thursday morning and stay the whole time. It goes from Oct. 29-Nov.1 at the Hyatt in Dearborn at Fairlane Circle. It's a really awesome hotel. Go check out the youmacon site if you haven't yet done so.
